More about Robert Lopno practices ...
For couples: A balanced, marriage-friendly approach is my emphasis in fostering a couple's commitment to care for one another in mutually respectful ways. The transition points of a couple's or family's development can strain even the most solid unions. Guidance is provided for resolving power struggles, improving intimacy, and reconciling after serious disruptions.
For families: I maintain great respect for the powerful influence of family relationships. We can work together to develop
effective discipline strategies for your children, to set up
respectful boundaries between the generations, and to stregnthen
relationships among all members.
For individuals: I want you to experience a comfortable place from
which to understand your concerns through a helpful therapeutic
relationship. Clients have often impressed me with the considerable
challenges they face--and successfully navigate with healing assistance.
My practice also includes conducting evaluations. Drawing on extensive experience in providing treatment aids my individualized assessments just as my lengthy experience as an evaluator informs my treatment.
Evaluation services include Psychological, Parenting Capacity Assessments, mental status examinations and assessments of learning, personality, cognition, and development.
I continue to Provide Dakota County Social Service and Corrections contracts. As of April, 2014 I have begun a contractual relationship as staff psychologist with Minnesota Organization for Fetal Alcohol Syndrome.
